Increase sound

hello
i want to increase the sound of the ringtone when i have an incoming call, because i cant hear it, i have an mp3 song

i tried editing
HKLM/Software/HTC/AUDIOGAIN/EARPHONE_UPLINK_VOLUME: 19 => 1000
HKLM/Software/HTC/AUDIOGAIN/RECEIVE_UPLINK_VOLUME: 00 => 1000

and its the same .
what can i do?

Is only the ring tone (the one you are trying to use) low volume? everything else is plenty loud?

If so you might try re encoding the mp3 with higher volume..

There are various options how to do this depending on what software you have available to you.. But i am pretty sure you can Google up a solution

i have tryed re encoding the mp3 but its the same, i think the problem is just in incoming calls if i put an mp3 song

I always use audacity to amplify the mp3 past the clipping point. This always make any of my mp3 ringtones just as loud as the standard ones.
