Help Skype wont connect after once

Hi All I have a Advantage 7500 with WM6 build 17745.0.2.3

I installed the latest Skype for PPC and it worked great ... ONCE. Any subsequent time it starts a 3G data session over my data plan on AT&T, but then says "the answering modem has disconnected".

something else like isp.cingular gprs

also, second question I noticed there is a WM6.1 around, is this something avail for my 7500 and if so, where from?

Hi.
I was using Skype in my X7501, I never had problems with my connections, did you try to uninstall skype. IE or Opera can connect?
Now I use Fring, this program can handle Skype and MSM, and other, by the moment just text but I found it more useful that have multiple programs.

I have WM 6.1 R0 from Michy.
There are many Roms and many builds around.
Go the Athena Mobile 6 forum, the second thread is a guide to unlock and upgrade the device. Please read a lot before try to change the ROM. Try to read most of the thread for the version that you like.
I suggest that you can use the ROM that I have, this one is very stable. And give a lot of free memory to install an run the programs.
