MP3 as SMS (Text Message) Sound?

Hi.

I need some help to set an mp3 sound as SMS (text message) received sound. I put the mp3 file into My Documents/My Ringtones and when I will set the SMS sound (Start/Settings/Sounds & Notifications) I cant find the mp3 on the list :(

Does anybody knows how to set it?

Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications > Notifications Tab
Tap the Event dropdown and choose "Messaging: New text message"
Make sure "Play sound" is ticked, and tap the dropdown to choose your sound.
Your MP3 filename *should* be there.
Tap the play button to test that it is the right one, then tap OK.

You now have an MP3 sound for your text notification.
