Hi,

Why isn't Windows Mobile Live Messenger not the same as Windows Live Messenger?
A capability of video conferencing would be nice (like webcam or videoconference in Windows Live) or the other usual features (send pictures/voiceclips) but most easy is the direct envelope button to get in your hotmail via a cookie.

What's the latest version by the way and isn't there any official link to a cab or something?
If you know an alternative messenger with the above possibilities let us know!

I tested palringo, with this one I could send pictures and voiceclips...

Thanks,

it's different because the device is massively lower spec than a home or office PC and streaming video calls over the mobile network could work out very expensive for the novice users who arent expecting it...plus most devices dont have a front-facing camera yet.

you can set up a favourite in internet explorer for your hotmail to automatically login if you want

alternatively, if you've got a decent data-plan you could set it up to sync "as items arrive" which will automatically update your mobile's hotmail account with your live hotmail account ... so theres no need to log in at all

i dont think you CAN download it separately, it tends to be cooked into the roms and so isnt user-upgradeable....but you might get lucky and find a link if you use the search on this site

isn't there any other program/tool for video conferencing then?
We can always turn our P3300 and look into the cam and turn back to the front screen, better then nothing...

ateksoft's webcam plaus will turn your phone's camera into a webcam, but doesnt have any conference facilities or anything. It will just let your desktop PC use your phone as a webcam (when connected)

dont know of any program to do what you want, but someone else here might
