WM 6.1 on HTC Prophet

I have been trying to upgrade my brother's prophet to WM 6.1 but to no avail. I have used Hard SPL as well as upgrade to WM6.1 but then the phone just displays the tricolor screen. I tried to hard reset but still to no avail. When I hard SPL again the default orange WM5 boots up. It seems that it is not accepting the upgraded os. Any help is appreciated.

Man check my posts on the forum i instruct how you can do that if you can not find them or upgrade send me a message describing your problem, and i will explain how you such do the upgrade. :D

I found this thread [13.01.2009][WM6.1]ROM Prophet Blue Manila 2(OS 5.2.19974)-Now with WPA2 Support. Is this the one to follow?
