It is neither - It is actually a clone - they confirmed that it is a clone in the questions and answers as you scrole down the page. Before buying this make sure you know fully what you are getting and that you are OK with a clone. Some people have had difficulty flashing new ROMS on clones or even running certain apps.

The one in the picture is definately a clone - Look at one of the pictures with the battery out and back open. Says made in China - True HTC such as mine says HTC inovations made in Taiwan. Also notice that the external antenna conection is not in the place it should be. I would doubt that they are selling any realy HTC devices - Likely all clones. I have not heard many people complaining too much about clone devices besides what I mentioned above plus depending on who you buy it from - you might have some difficulty with customer support

You want an Elfin? What contry are you in. You can search EBAY, However, watch out for clones still if you definately don't want a clone. If you are in Canada you can get one through ROGERS for as cheap as free with a contract and data plan (rather expensive their data plans are) I just bought mine straight up so that I wouldn't have to take their rediculous data plan (WIFI is good enough for me as there are tons of open WIFI hotspots in my neck of the woods) I don't really know much about package deals with other countries and other carriers. In Canada ROGERS is the only carrier that carried the ELFIN as far as I know. Bell, Northern Mobility, Telus all CDMA touch AKA Vogue

Elf information in wiki here

Elfin in WIKI here

Still with EBAY you never know- Seller may claim that device is genuine HTC Elfin and when you get it you find that it is a clone or even just the plain Elf or even maybe a vogue and not Elf or Elfin because they just didn't know the difference. Just be careful and be sure before you buy. I don't know what other sites you can get one at that would be cheap enough but honorable / trustworthy. Maybe someone else can provide you with some links to some trusted sites. You can search through this forum to see if anyone is selling their elfin (used for cheap)

I could not tell if this was genuine or not but either way it is not elfin or enhanced elf\
Elf has 128M FLASHROM +64M RAM which this device has
Elfin has Memory ROM: 256 MB SDRAM: 128 MB DDR

I just searched all the sites that I know I trust and they either are not carrying the Elfin or are selling it at full price 399.00 Canadian or higher even still. Sorry, I dont' want to recomend any other sites that might be cheaper, because I personally don't know them, never dealt with them myself and don't want to see you get screwed because of something I recomended. Hopefully someone else here might be able to point you to some trusted sites.
