I bricked it.....and made it come back to life!!!!

i just bricked my diamond while trying to creat a splash screen i accidently clicked on SPL insted of SPLASH and updated my rom and it got bricked but then i got it to upload a new rom through bootloader!!! if any1 needs help on how to revive your diamond plz PM me or ask me here n ill be glad to help!!

so then you're saying it wasn't bricked,
bricked means completely dead, and you just merely flashed the wrong thing to the wrong place. if you'd of flashed and corrupted the bootloader, however, then you'd of bricked it :)
just keep in mind, this is why hardspl rocks!

I second Addicteddddds post. You didn't brick it, but you probably thought you had, so at least the fear you experienced was for real.

I will agree.... but how do u FU** up the bootloader?? i mean how exactly do u brick a phone?? just for knowledge guys, definately dont want to try it or anything!!;)

Nope, you didn't brick your device, you only forced it into bootloader (by corrupting a non vital part).
You can brick your device by uploading a wrong or corrupted bootloader..

Olipro's hard SPL has a failsafe, it doesn't allow to upgrade the bootloader.

Ok, so how do you revert to original bootloader for warranty purposes then? I tried flashing from internal storage the 1.93 original SPL, and still had olipro's...

Any ideas?

Oilpro H-SPL is protected so can only flash original within windows and not from bootloader...

There is a thread with various SPLs here somewhere.

please i need help.. i tried to put a new rom on my diamond... i forgot to put the DIAMIng.nbh file on it ... and i continued.. now it will turn on.. show the Touch Diamond. and then reset itself repeatedly thank you

enter bootloader on the device and then flash a new rom from ur pc.
