I have a sanyo mm7400 and a webcam program hooked up to send emails on my laptop whenever motion is detected. Basically it dials #777 and connects to the vision network...Just got a new qwest htc ppc6800 titan phone off ebay and am planning on using oilpro's / Imcokeman's unlocker to unlock then sign up phone with my current provider sprint...Big question is do I need to edit the bios for PAM (phone as modem)as I heard there are some intricacies around some dll files that my SANYO does not have.

so your going to unlock a sprint phone to use it on sprint?

Qwest has not been a real carrier since the late 90's.. They have been reselling re badged sprint phones on the sprint network since so as long as sprint doesnt mind activating it there should be no flash of anything required.

First version of unlocker did not work, I would get the "invalid service provider message...but second version on ppc geeks did, ver. 2.53 I think. I am a rebel and burned the stock ruu even thou NO ACTIVsnych (usually a requirement) and the screen was a rainbow ! :O (guess I have the magic touch :)....Called sprint and they said the esn (a secret code) was still tied to an account...Good thing it was my last day to open a complaint file against the ebay seller...Hopefully he'll call em up and get it changed round...
