help on updating to official 6.1

I've already managed to revert my ROM via these http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=369578&highlight=original+spl instructions.

I downloaded the WWE version of the ROM update but I get an error when it starts to update it says...

ERROR[249]: INVALID VENDOR ID

This Update Utility cannot be usedfor your PDA Phone. Please check your Update Utility

If I use HardSPL will this work? But I would rather use the New shiped 1.22 SPL coz people say it's faster and better.

Look again in HardSPL Thread, at one of the last pages you can find HardSPL 1.22 :D

And yes, HardSPL will fix your Problem.
