WIFI-connection share over usb ?

hi I am looking for a tool for the hermes, my girlfriend wanna use wifi connection via usb (or hermes as a wireless card) on a notebook without a wifi card.

is there any source ?

I searched for Hermes as a wifi card and ended up with this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377047).

But it should also work with more "interesting" combinations like:

VPN to Wifi - get wireless clients onto a VPN
Wifi to Bluetooth - allow bluetooth network devices to access a WLAN.
Wifi to USB - basically the pda acts as a wireless network card for the PC (neat, eh?)
