Hello All

Help please! I start to use this gadget week ago. And I is not so easy. I though, that if this gadget has name "touch", I will be able to operate it with using my finger. But I have to use my NAIL for it. I have used all tools (setting of register, additional programms and etc) for setting my device, but it was unsuccessful:(

If you have any secret tool, share with me!

Thanks in advance.

Your device should be working allright right out of the box. Should not have that much difficulty - however, check out this link for information on touch sensitivity

If this does not work, then perhaps you have a crappy screen protector on - take it off and see how it works without it.

You have been playing with the registry you say. Have you been doing this before or after experiencing the problems. You might have messed things up unknowingly. A hard reset should reset things back to factory default settings - perhaps this would fix your problem aslo.

If that does not work - you might want to consider taking it back to the vendor for a warranty repair or replacement as it could be a faulty digitizer.

Good luck, hope this helps

EDIT: If you don't have warranty and you believe it may be a faulty digitizer see here for instructions on how to dissasemble your Elf to replace digitizer yourself - It may not be this but it is difficult to know.

I am assuming you have not flashed a new ROM to your device because otherwise you should have said so. If you did by chance and not mention it, it could be a problem with the ROM and you might want to consider flashing to a different custom ROM. If it is Stock ROM still and none of the above helped- than ignore this as flashing to a new ROM will not likely solve the problem as I suspect it is a faulty digitizer.
