O2 XDA Atom not charging!

Hi,

I am having a strange problem. My O2 XDA atom does not charge (by charger/USB) when it is ON. But when it is OFF, it charges via charger or USB both. Pl help me with this prob. I love this fone & dont wana lose it. Promptness appreciated. Thnx!!

Yep, same here, and also I can't make it work with the PC, it charges, but active sync can't recognize it.
What could it be?

it could possibly be that the Mini USB in the atom has worn out or is dirty.

so back up and seek out a PDA repair expert :/

try to conect disconnect mini usb pin. it sometimes happen to me aswell..... it's contact pin may be corroded and is not being connected properly

My O2 XDA IIs is charging only when turned off on a wallmount charger but when it is on or suspended the battery charge decreases until zero.. I can only charge it normally via usb connected on a pc..

I need help pls..

maybe you didn't install the Microsoft ActiveSync..

hi even my charger charge for only say 6 to 10 % after that it stop charging. and after 20 to 30 minutes again you can charge 7 to 10% (strange problem). but i found a solution for this. I used samsung charger and put mini usb connector at the charging end. now it charge only when the phone is off. So to overcome this problem i did camera + reset and it goes to bootloader mode and here you can charge enjoy ....
