Annoying beeping sound!

I'm having a strange problem with my Hermes 8525, when I press the "END" key, or the "LOG" button in the phone function I hear this loud annoying beeping sound. This all of a sudden started happening. I'm running CRC rom, Windows 6.1. Any ideas? Thanks.

Start > settings > sound and notifications.

Untick "Events"

I tried that before I did the post, no luck. It still makes that annoying beeping sound! Any other thoughts?
