No notification sound of "new MMS" even though one has been set

Hi guys, I am using Dutty's 4 ROM and I noticed that whenever a new MMS comes in for my Diamond, there will only be a short beep once and thats all. Even thought I have set the ringtone for new MMS and I can hear it when I press the play button, when a real new MMS comes in, only a beep is heard.

Anybody have any solution? Thanks.

First, just check your settings. For MMS there are two notification tones... 'New MMS received' and 'New MMS downloaded'. Make sure you've set tones for both. If this isn't the issue, post in Dutty's ROM forum and ask the man himself - you may not be the only one with this issue :confused:

I had the same problem. Set both the received and downloaded notification to the same tone as suggested and it works ;-)
