Vista Windows Mobile Device Center does not connect after hibernation

My Vista does not connect to the Diamond after it has waken up from hibernation (hibernate to disk). I always have to restart first which makes hibernation pointless. Anybody else with these issues? Any ways around?
Vista is a fresh install. Had the same issues before.
