It's not out yet... expect Q4 2009. I heard that there's a beta rom for a certain phone out right now.

In fact 2 or 3 devices form this forum already have beta versions of 6.5
But haven´t seen any for non touch screens, is very similar with the sliding panels of 6.1 std

6.5 only seems useful if you have a touchscreen. it looks cool though.

It looks nasty untill it's played with here is what peeps have done with it on Kaiser http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474869
Basically the same set up as WM6.1 .cpr & bronzers.
Mind you these are all beta builds so no one really know what the finished version will look like when M$ finally ships it out to public.

I tested it but went back to 6.1, too much bugs by now...

Yeah this is how it looks as default http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3214841&postcount=1
Sliding panels basically 2 x bronzeres for lanscape portrait and will be same for .cpr, to be honest i have used hybrids without the homescreen, the beta's all tend to be a bit unstable and i don't like the look of it.
Also have M2D the way i like it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3304250&postcount=2489 :)

Yeah they aimed to replicate the original concept everyone thought was fake, and they nailed it. What they demoed at MWC was pretty slow, but they'll release it manufacturers in Q4 so the speed should be worked out by then.

I'm pretty excited for the platform right now. If the graphics are improved by launch day, there will be quite frankly, no reason whatsover for me to get an Android device. With 6.5, we'll finally get beauty with power :)
