View Full Version : opera/WAND password management

i've searched but cant seem to find the answer. fyi, stock ROM, very few add-ins (ultimatelaunch, weatherpanel, spb phone suite), always use opera for web access.

one of my favorites requires a login/PW. the site itself doesnt have a "remember me" box, but i checked "for the entire server" when it originally asked me "do you want WAND (the password manager) to save the password?" etc. worked flawlessly until i changed that password (while within the particular site). so how do i now change the PW within WAND?? it seems once WAND has asked to save a password, it never asks again, even if the PW has changed. it simply enters the old PW which obviously doesnt work anymore.

i've tried to clear them by hitting the trash can in settings/privacy/password management, but when i go back in, theyre mysteriously still there!

the only way around this i've found is to go into the opera subfolders, find the WAND file and delete. then just recreate a new one by simply visiting sites again. but this is annoying if you have a lot of sites that require PW's or if you change your PW often.

help anyone?

thanks!

which file is the WAND file? I've tried removing a ton of files, but I'm not deleting the correct one.

Thanks.
