Hi guys,

just a thought since some devices available out there can display a lot of pixels, it seems more obvious that they could be used as convenient SSH terminals; in short then, is there such app that would be able to make use of a WVGA screen and possibly hardware keyboards?

i looked around but all SSH clients i found are old and complied in windows for pocket pc 2002 times...

any feedback is as always appreciated! thanks!

yeah, both pocket putty and pocket tty are sure ugly tho and have that 90s feeling to them... isn't there something more modern?

well, it's a ssh client / console? Do you want to have scrolling Matrix Icons in the background? :D

PocketPutty is actually great because you even can do ssh tunneling just like on desktop application and this is also working really fast.

Btw: "PocketPuTTY is free, open source SSH client for Pocket PC."
So if you don't like it, change it ;)

well i'm not sure, i'd probably want opengl gfx, dolby sound effects and integration with google application suite :>

no, really, i'd want an ssh client that would make use of the 800x480 screen - not one that displays everything soo small that it's unreadable; i'd also want cleartype support, multiple session tabs and a few other bits.... but mostly, i'd like to get an ssh client that feels like it was actually written for winmo, not one that feels like a port and like it doesn't belong on a mobile device...

i hope you know what i mean by that...

Try mToken.

It's brilliant.

PocketPuTTY scales out to whatever screen you have. Its perfect because its the exact port of the desktop version.
