Hi,
I'm having trouble with my Orange Samsung i780. I've been using TomTom v6 with GPSProxy but I heard that with a ROM upgrade TomTom could run on its own. I upgraded the ROM so now my versions are:
PDA: i780DXHC4
Phone:i780BVGK3

Before the upgrade both were i780BVGK3. Is there any way that I can flash the phone back to the original state? Does anyone know where I can find the ROM for Version BVGK3?
I've considered contacting Orange but I'm worried in case I have invalidated my warranty.

Thanks in advance.

Try here http://www.samsungmobile.com/support/i780/index.jsp
input "BVGK3" as version number.

Thanks for the reply but that doesn't work. If I enter BVGK3 on that page that's asking for an update for the BVGK3 ROM. I currently have the DXHC4 ROM installed. The problem is that I cannot access the phone function on my i780 now. I try to enable the phone function but I just get 'no service'. I'm hoping that somehow flashing my PDA back to the BVGK3 ROM will solve the issue.

1. Unzip the installation first and find the largest exe file.
2. Use HexEditor open it
3. go to the bottom line to find BV and replace it with DX
4. Save this exe and then run it
