Eagerly awaiting 6.5. Not sure how the honeycomb experience would be in non-touchscreen smartphones but the rest of the improvements surely look exciting. I really love the Zune style menu system.

Honestly? I believe it'll work just great. On my BA, I always scroll down with 4way button and then use stylus to click. So it'll be the same with Tornado. All thought tornado repeat is slower, but won't be a biggie. At least I'm pretty sure we won't need the Fake Cursor for the honeycomb screen. As for the Titanium sliding panel, it'll be the same as on 6.1, so that should be fine as well. LOL My son is in trouble. He don't want a touch phone and I already told him I want my Tornado back :D

Well its not a problem....I recommend you nineway keypad v2....Until now I've never used my soft keys and the joysticks...I'm happy I was able to preserve my Tornado until now condition is still brandnew and scratchless...Thanks for the developer of nineway keypad......My Tornado is two years old already....:)

I too am using nine way keypad (bad expereince from my SPV E200 joystick)

and i too dun regret it, Its kool and my frnds just stare at me when i am using 2,4,6,8 to control my phone like a toy xD

I am testing the chinese version of WM6.5 and it is very smooth and useable despite the slow CPU. Even though i have a kaiser, i'm using the tornado as crash test device for experimental roms :D

Can't wait to test your ROM as well :cool:

a bug i found the device canot be locked it wil unlock asoon as you let go of the hang up key

when i setuped this rom ... as soon as i ran it .. key buttons were locking

after reboot this situation continue ..

how can i unlock key buttons? thx :)

by the way .. if i do nothing phone will shutdown after few seconds

Really great to hear.. but I am still fighting with rapidshare... kindly some one upload it to another server pl..

Regarding the locking somewhere I read as first a lock setting program appli found under program is required to run.. like that .. best of luck to all who already tried ;)

Unlocking keys: go to Start menu - Settings - Lock - Display and set "Unlock display" from Windows Default to Windows Classic. After reboot you can unlock key via left softkey and press 0 (as same in WM6.1).

Great rom, a little confusing because it's made for touch-screen devices, but works great on Tornado.

One silly question though - where is the camera program in this rom? :)

There will not be a camera program in this ROM :) I deleted driver + app for this... But, after this I have 3-4MB RAM more :)

you can lick the device but for nothing because as i said before as soon as you let go of the hang up key to lock the phone it wil unlock it self its a bug so unless you install a program to lock the phone, you wont be abol to lock it

Thanks for your translation, ROM works well. I have just a little problem:window that pops in the bottom of display for incoming calls by a contact of mine doesn't show caller name but phone number. Already copied contacts from SIM to phone and tried different Area Code in contacts option...Any suggestion?

yes... it's english rom but it's not working properly in my opinion. i deleted it from my phone and installed stable WM 6.1 . I think we must wait for release useable WM 6.5 Smartphone . I don't like Pro ...

bad thing is my joystick, which is not working.. it is my old problem and I could not fix it.. you know working on a Pro ROM with unresponsive joystick is something worried:mad:

I tried but I have the problem of keylock that by changing the settings remain the same locked in each other more if they leave detention for a few minutes it shuts down completely.
I apologize for my bad English

For key lock in setting>lock change to classic, and for i minute power off change setting in setting>Power>advance.

Nope. It doesn't work. There were similar problems with other devices too but some are being sorted out.

I think that MietasSR already said that his ROM doesent have the camera driver installed.
So installation of the application only wont work.

The chinese rom in the video does have a camera.
I think thatn the calculator shown its a retail application and not WM6.5, please correct me if i wrong.

Anyway, hope that someone continues the work of MietasSR... respect

It is due to locking while keeping idling in booting. to avoid this press some keys while booting.. do setting for lock.

could you see if you can talk to mietasSR and find out what all he removed, that could help

Try formatting BinFS and upgrade it again.

This method worked fine for all the ROM's put up in this forum which I have tested so far.:)

This ROM works perfect for me. I am just waiting for a newer build. I am too busy now to learn and port it from some other device.:mad::o Probably in a couple of month's time, I may be able to learn and do something.:D

Check the answer to my post about this:
keep hitting some buttons while booting. When booted, change lock setting to Classic...
Then reboot and you're done!:)

Any button will do. It's just to prevent the phone from going into keylock because of no activity during several seconds.
I kept hitting the '0'-key every few seconds from the moment you see the WM6.5 splash screen till you see the homescreen.
After that don't forget to change the setting and reboot.
