T-Mobile Dash wm6 to 6.1

I have a quick question - I downloaded an image of WM 6.1.4 Standard from Microsoft. Can that be used somehow to flash my T-Mobile Dash to a 6.1 device? There are 4 different existing ROMs here, and I'm unsure which to use. I don't want to get any customizations, just a straight out WM6.1 for T-Mobile dash, IE (not Opera), and all standard apps (though extra games and weather app would be nice).

I'm not sure :confused: All I know is that vanilla is the basic version of the v24 with nothing extra added. I'm running v24 no opera, but I found myself adding opera afterwards. Opera kicks PIE's ass:cool:

They are all WWE "World Wide English"

roloracer hit nail on head if u go for Kavana Ricky Remade i'd go for Vanilla as a lighter ROM, the other thing i'd do is the pagepool tweak so as it's 4.5MB as you don't notice a difference in speed in these ROMs but can get an extra 7-8MBish RAM :)

I just got WM6.1 installed using Vanilla. Will I still need to get the t9 updated as well?

I'm going to re-flash in a bit after changing the pagepool. The weather app is going to be there also. Where can I change the clock style? I'm not a fan of the LED style. I kind of like the classic look there (and it's easier for me to read).

odd - NRG weather caused a few programs to crash. The top bar doesn't show up on the Today screen, the top bar clock is gone, and the scrolling is slower now.

1. did you install on the storage card?
2. did you get the bj2 instead of the regular?

I don't have any storage card installed...I put it on the actual phone. I went with the third link, for 'any' phone ("Regular version for any device, without the monitor"). I did the pagepool change to 4 5 0, and the top bar is no longer there on the bare today screen, but on every other screen...odd. Curiouser is that when I did another flash without changing the pagepool, it's back.

Ok, I don't know why this is happening, I've been using this weather app for about 6 months and never had a problem . Ok, set up your weather options for your area (zip code) and reboot your phone, and see what happens.

I don't use pagepool, you gonna have to ask stylez on that.

Have no idea why yout Top icons didn't show but here are pics one of the ammount of RAM "bare in mind total fresh install, no sim" and the other to show home screen with no issues regarding topbar.

Your documents folder is fine, install on the device. where did you have it?
