Hello,

I hope it's not an absolutely newbee-question ...

I just installed my first "not-official" ROM on my P535 smartphone:

P535-WM6.1-MANILLA 2D-BLACK VERSION BUILD 19974.1.2.8 WWE(PVA9)ROM6.1_BUILD19974_BLACK_VERSION.zip (http://rapidshare.com/files/185583353/PDAVIET_ASUSp535-ROM6.1_BUILD19974_BLACK_VERSION.zip)

I'm pretty impressed by the new features but unfortunately I ran into one problem: After I flashed the new ROM I tried to install my navigation software "Navigon Navigator", but without success. The "device id" of my Asus changed and therefore my activation key for the navigation software is not valid any more.

Does anyone know how this unique device id is generated? Will a downgrade back to the original ROM solve my issues? Or any other hints?

Regards,
ChrischMan

U can try adding in the Owner's information. Some programs uses this to generate the key.
