And the ROM is for the old gene i think,so till its ported over to the new Gene,please don't flash it

i am sure this is for old gene and i don't think you can use this rom as a base rom to cook because so far all the roms from pda viet have been protected....

No luck, its for old gene and locked, as always with PDAViet ROMS. I dont give these even a look because of that. Let the author keep all the fame and rom to himself :o

Nope! Aleast not using this ROM as base. If we can find the SYS, OEM and XIP (even non ported one) then we can port it.

i have tried this ROM and its the new honey comb also manila 2d is available...its a beta version and i am not saying anything about performance as of now...but the performance looks ok to me i have just being using it for the last 15 mins...:D

Manilla, new Today screen and Manilla 2D? what kind of combo is that? Manilla is sure an overkill for this ROM. HOw much storage are you getting?

i don't know about this ROM,but the V08 for the elf looks SEXY!and it should work on the gene to because the elf has the same hardware,DAMN@rom protection

The XIP version is 21159 (i think):confused:

Yes the XIP version is 21159. Its always the same as the version and build of the OS, as XIP is nothing but some important files taken from the OS and executed in a very efficient way.

Just got Updated my old gene. Working fine. Bit slow, Windows folder response is ultimate, not explored all thing. Got one thing when incoming call comes periodically screen comes from bottom to top.

Else working fine. Anyone knows how to change todays themes font/ clear type.

I am working on extracting the current rom now....

hello all,

After using this ROM for about 4 days here are my impressions about this wm 6.5 Beta

The Good :
great response time and lightening fast interface
looks cool
Max battery life from this ROM
Good signal and call quality

The Bad:
Phone cannot come out of stand by at times ....only option is to do a soft reset

While receiving an incoming call the screen just slides from bottom to top with a caption slide to answer..:confused:.kinda awkward to do that...

The close button on the top right of programs is a little toooo big...makes it unpleasant ...

I didn't like Manila integrated with this ROM that was just my personal thought


So i have decided to go back to WM 6.1 Pro users ROM v 1.03 until another version of WM6.5 is out ....But this one is worth a try ...

I had tried this and my start window became Slow and the answer option is weird cause of the screen moving up all the time...Exchange gives error...no bluetooth explorer (i am not too sure but i couldnt find any)....hangs once in a while..got to do a soft reset...Overall 7/10.

I am back to 6.5 Ultra Slim............

for my old gene it is very much slow & while installing the component (after upgrading) it will stuck be care full while installing this one
