WM6 (HTC Polaris) Satellite phone possible ?

Hi

Is it possible to use a WM6 PDA as a Satellite phone? Any suggestions? My son's going on a two month hike and I'd like him to be in contact if he needs assistance. There are great tracts of land where ordinary cellular phones don't work.

i've tried start in bootloader mode but nothing,still dead,even not show charging.
