View Full Version : Newbie Question re i780 ROM Upgrades

Hello,

I am running the new 'offical' ROM upgrade for my UK Orange i780.

Version: -
PDA: i780PBVHK1
PHONE: i780PBVHK1

Can someone point me in the direction of how I can upgrade to one of the serveral versions listed on here.

Do I need to flash the ROM using Mirage to the Russian and English versions first then apply the updates here?

Is there a dummies guide to the process?

why should use Russian ROM, if need WWE on phone, no need Russian lang?

links in TXT are not working pls anybody post correct one.

Start from point 22, the 1st part is to upgrade also eboot+phone but russian rom is really old, you can skip that part. Instead flashing E1english.bin you can flash every rom you want. Can't help you for the links because i'm operamini but if you search "i780 forum rom" in google.it you 'll find an italian forum. In the 1st page there are the links you need.
