I currently have an HTC Artemis (P3300). I use this phone for about 2,5 years. I was wondering, what would basicly be the effect of buying a new battery? Will it prevent my battery from draining by, lets say, 25%? Or would there be almost no difference?

ROM: Artemis DJ M2D WM6.5 5.0 UL
Radio: 3.34.90

Cheers!

No, this not what I meant and not an answer to my question. I have no problems with the current ROM, I'm using the 'no-radio version' and I fetch my mail manually. I've read the thread. I was just wondering, what the overall benefits would be by replacing a battery. The stock battery I'm using is a 1250 mAh, on the internet, I see many batteries of 1300 mAh. Will it make a difference?

well,
how much more will 50 mAh give? afaik, this "gain" is neglectable!
if u really want some extra power, there used to be dealers offering 1800mAh, protruding out off the back quite a bit.

my battery is about 3,5 years old, radio off from 22-07 overnight, approx4-6 10 min calls a day, everything else off, a picture here, a song there...lasts me a solid 7 days!

Great, thanks for the intel! I also thought that 50 mAh wouldn't make ay significant difference. But, I'm not a technician ;)

Cheers.
