Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I got an Orange SPV M3100 from a friend but I cannot get it to switch on. I can get into the bootloader mode and the information the bootloader gives is:

HERM100
IPL-1.01

HERM100
SPL-1.40.Olipro

I have tried a hard reset, it says that the phone has been restored and press SPACE to boot but when pressing space nothing happens - no Orange Logo, no splash screen - absolutely nothing - it doesnt even attempt to boot. The same happens with the power button - no attempt to boot. However in both cases (when I hold the power button down and after a hard reset, the green LED lights up)

At first I thought the battery was dry (since the phone hadnt been used for a few months) but even after charging it for a few hours, no difference. However, I am not sure whether there is a problem when charging it (no LEDs light up when charging - is this normal - i thought an Amber light should come on). However, the phone does have enough charge to stay in the bootloader screen for hours so I think it is charging.

Ive tried searching the board and the wiki but I cannot find anything similar to this (most people have at least the operator logo or windows logo coming on)

I would appreciate any advice as to what is wrong with the phone and whether I can go about fixing it.

Thanks in advance for your help and if you need any more info please do ask.
