Sync via IMAP does not get me the emails in my folders

I switched from exchange to use imap sync for my emails as via exchange was taking ages...
Now I do get all the emails that come directly to the inbox but although i do see all the folders no emails are coming through to them and they are empty.
I have created rules and some emails go directly to them in outlook

I do read mixed postings so i am not sure if it is a setting on my mobile or just imap are not supporting the folders... :-(

Just found the solution.... so here i post it for any future questions similar to mine..
It was s simple solution actually. Go to the inbox, Click Menu - Tools - Manage Folders.
then I just to tick the folders i wanted to be Synced..
Thats all.. so thread Closed.. before it was even started
