Death USB port on HTC Diamond

Hallo members,
I've got a death USB port on HTC Diamond.
now i've got a quistion .....!

Dos anyone now of HTC has a special USB cable or some special Software to become on a Diamond with a death USB port?
When I connect to mij PC the PC now thats something on the USB but realy don't now what !
(actievesync on mij PC is good)

Hi,
I think you should have posted this in the diamond section, anyways i had this problem before and could only fix it by hard resetting my diamond. you dont need ant special cable, its just a mini usb cable.

A hard reset is not the solution !
after trying a hard reset the same message came back on mij HTC Diamond !

Check the pins are not broken or bent and try another cable.

For pins that are bent, you should be able to move them back with some fine tweezers. Lastly, if your phone is within its warranty period, they may repair it for you for free or for cheap.
