Hi guys, I have a question here.

Is there a way to set my Kaiser to use data connection ONLY if I have 3g/HSPDA coverage?

I don't think it is possible, but you never know.

My problem is that I have a plain data plan but only for 3g coverage, if I use the data connection in areas where only edge or gprs is available, my telcom carrier charge me a lot for this.

So, to solve this, the above setting came into my mind or a sort of "firewall-software" that blocks all app's trying to access data connection if I don't have 3g coverage.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks, Diego

Never seen a way to do that - but then, I've never seen a data plan that works only on 3G but not on EDGE, so there's not much chance someone would have needed and thus made such a program...

thanks for the reply, it's not that doesn't work on EDGE, but in some way it is not free for me.

I thought that it would be a little difficult to find something like this... so I think I should be opening my Visual Studio again :(

cheers,

Diego
