Hello all,
I few days ago my polaris stopped syncing and now today it will only charge from the wall charger. I am happy to return the device for repair but since I run a cooked Rom how do I remove the ROM and hardspl and return the device to original without pc connection working.

Have you confirmed that the problem lays with the device. I've had lots of problems with syncing. To confirm the problem I do the following:

1 Remove USB and reconnect
2 Reset Device - reconnect
3 Reset PC - reconnect
4 Uninstall AS4.5 - reinstall

In that order, I've had to go as far as 4 a couple of times, but never returned to the supplier.

You should be able to download the original ROM from o2 www.o2.co.uk or on this site if you search. You should double check the syncing after the re-flash.
