I have released the final version of my TF7X theme with all white fonts now it is pretty much a full transformation with S2U2 or Tlock, CDMA dialer skin and taskbar skin.

Side note after installing you will find the wallpapers in MY DOCUMENTS folder on your ppc to set it goto settings tab in touchflow select wallpaper expand the my pictures tab and click on MY DOCUMENTS and set your wallpaper from one of the 4 I have included.

Hi Probex

Please don't get me wrong. Your theme is excellent and I admire all the "chefs", "developers" etc on XDA. I wish I had their skills and patience!

The lack of response (ie low download rate) to your theme is probably because downloading it requires registration to your host site. I have spoken to some of my friends on XDA and that is the very reason why they havent downloaded your theme, even though they think you've done a great job.

I dont know whether we are just to lazy to register on your theme-host site or whether its a case of "Oh heck, not another site we have to register on..." or the concern of potentially being bombarded by spam after registration.

Maybe you could host it on a rapidshare type site or one that doesnt require registration? That would increase your download rate and maybe provide you with more 'donaters'.

Anyway keep up your great work and I hope you get enough donaters to keep your wife happy (as you requested).

Seriously as a theme designer its nice to have your downloads in one place for many reasons.

1. Track the number of downloads so you know if its worth doing a theme like this agian.
2. You can answer all questions regarding the install on that download thread [this prevents answering over and over and over agian]
3. You can watch a you tube video of the theme before installing
4. You get the opportunity to see more of my themes that have not been posted anywhere.

Since very few people ever donate for the countless hours it takes to make a theme, we should at least be able to have the satisfaction of knowing how many downloads of it are going out and having it on one site gives us that satisfaction.

XDA does not show how many downloads on a link as far as I am aware of [this kinda drives me nuts] as I like to know. Most people won't say thanks and most will not donate but the counter does not care it just keeps clickn how many downloads.. :)

And just for the record SPJ does not send spam to anyone. We are just another fun loving group of smartphone um junkies ya thats it. lol

Goddamn beautiful...:) Really a good job. Love the dialer and all detaill in the skin. The Profiletab is a big plus on functionality. The skin is a stayer for me! I read about lack of speed with this skin, well, not for me!
Got two issues: in the calendar tab the month is not visible, so just a bunch of numbers.:p
And i saw in the youtube vid that it is possible to extend the progamtab with unlimited buttons, four per row. Wow! But how?

And just a small request would be: a small transparent slider. The small tabs (icons) make a sophisticated and fine impression. The big slider falls out this sphere. Kind of a pitty. The tabs are so clear, dont need the big slider for recognation.

You must be using a realy dark background as the calendar month is at the top but the font is in black still for the month and year. I have had a few people mention the slider might be to much so I will consider modifying the slider to be smaller like the bottom icons.

That all programs on the program tab is available on SPJ in the mobile resource section.

Slider is kind of big though... And i will try to make the backgrounds a little meaner, they're a little to pale imo, making the skin a little vague.

What is the "PROBEX-blue-MightyRom-taskbar.cab" for?

btw. it took aloot longer than 6 minutes to install the theme, about 20-25 minutes ;)

The MightyRom taskbar is only for TouchPro users that are running that Rom as he has the start button dll named something different in his rom. No need to use that if you are on any other Rom its the smae as PROBEX-BLUE-VGA.cab just aims that dll to a different spot.

Thanks for the animation Wiskey its cool. I also have a animation screen on the "Support Thread" I made to match this "start sound as well" and instructions on how to apply it. But hey the more the merrier. :)

I have problem as well. It changed to blue but I cannot get the TF3D to start up. It keeps saying Tap here to launch, and then it says launching TF3D, and the back to Tap here to launch. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!!

I cannot really remember where i read it, but some people had trouble (the tf3d start loop) with the 'call history tab' (don't know the refering manila file) in combination with, as i rember it well, 'mun background cab' or 'pamas glass slider'. Just saying this to help you all thinking in some direction.

This theme was based off of BBExtreme 4.0 Remix set up [same mannila files] so I am checking his thread to see if there are issues mentioned there about failed installs.

This is stunning, I am running Energy Rom V.2.2 whick is based on the upcoming TP2, any future plans for this theme on this rom. (I loaded it and it works but I lose The TP2 features - stock tab, weather, calendar). Once again this is the perfect look you have done a fine job!

I plan to deff put this theme to work on the TP2 as well, that will be the next platform that I will starting my next major theme on. Wow only 25mb free owch.. Well I guess the only suggestion I could give for you to get this theme installed would be to find a rom that does not include TF3D just a barebones rom then install my theme, as it includes all the files needed for a full TF3D install.

Some may ask why it includes everything? Well there are so many different versions of TF3D around cooked into so many different roms that the only way to make a complete full theme with everything working on any rom is to package it this way. I will never make another .theme file again because it does not make the changes necessary for a full theme and kills landscape mode. Unacceptable for me.

first of all thanks for all your work on this. This is really a great theme. Best I've ever seen. I've installed everything and all is working well. I have two issues though:

The bottom and upper bar aren't blue but red. Is there a way I can change this into blue?

The other issue relates to the background. For some reason I'm unable to change my background. It remains black even when I select another picture.

Can anybody help me with this as it doesn't look nice right now?

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply :) I managed to change the color into blue (stupid of me).

Regarding the wallpaper, I did go to WALLPAPER through TF3D -> Settings. Only I'm unable to see any pictures there even when I go to My documents. When looking at My documents using File Explorer I'm able to see your 4 terrific background picture :confused:

This is very strange and I'll try to find out why this is happening. I'm sure this has to do with my phone and not your theme.

I've a 1.93 rom and a touch diamond 2G. The theme is working perfectly fine for the past two days.

Inside the .zip file there is a S2U2-theme cab just install that and select the /ClockD from S2U2 settings.

This Is a VGA skin for S2U2 are you on a VGA device? The skin by default installs to Program Files/S2U2/gfx your the first with any problem to run it, so there must be some issue with your install of S2U2.

Hi Probex, looks like a nice theme. Can't install it though, followed the procedure but it takes forever to try to install and then I don't get the re-boot device message mentioned in the text file. It just goes back to the today page. The theme is listed in the remove programs page but I can't seem to get it to work.

I'm using a UK Orange Diamond with Duttys 3.5 rom

Just go into the S2U2 settings and choose clockD as the active clock. Also shot the top and bottom curtains off from the settings as well.

I have been working on a ALIENXTREAM TP2 theme since that is still my most popular skin it will be the first one released for the Tp2 and it will come in at least 3 different colors. and everything will be skinned then I will work on porting this and the StoneChromeKillerX themes for it.

Read the instructions in the readme file leave the current taskbar installed and add this to your windows folder.

NOTE: I did not create this animation credit to XDA for it can't recall the name of the creator. I just packaged it with my start icon. the wait icon is a vista wait icon very pretty.

I installed this theme about a week ago, and it looks great. then i uninstalled the taskbar portion of it because the battery icon wasnt changing as the battery life went down.(though it did look really cool). I also uninstalled the s2u2 part because i dont use that program.

everything seemed okay at first but now my weather tab isn't updating(sprint touch diamond) it says downloading weather data and the last update %d min ago but it never updates. I had the weather database editor installed before the theme, but then uninstalled to make room for the theme(though i guess it really wasnt necessary).

This all is probably unrelated and something else could have messed it up as im am not exactly sure when the weather stopped updating, but i wanted to post to see if anyone else is having troubles with that tab. I also don't think it is a server side problem because my nephew has the same phone and his weather tab still works and i assume we would be accessing all the same servers. I've uninstalled all programs that I thought could have something to do with it but nothing seems to work.

Im not sure but if i had to guess I would say when you removed the weather editor it removed the related manila file for the weather.[that would leave you with no manila file for the weather] I would try to reinstall the weather editor or the already modified manila weather file.

What rom are you using as you see inside the "read me" there are 2 different ways it could be named inside the rom. and that file only changes the wait icon and the start icon. nothing else. you don't need to install anything else to use it.

[edit] Installed a rom without TF3D (cloudyfa_6.5.03), next installed all three cab-files, including soft-reset between installs, however after last soft-reset the TF3D plugin isn't showing in SETTINGS\Today

I really like this but since I loathe TF3D what I have done is run it with the simple iPhone theme - gives me a slider unlock/check page without all the faff of TF.

I have to say im not impressed with WinCE touch - its basically what I was using on a 1994 Mitac handheld... in alot of cases its worse - but a well thought out interface makes it bearable..

I have been working on a ALIENXTREAM TP2 theme since that is still my most popular skin it will be the first one released for the Tp2 and it will come in at least 3 different colors. and everything will be skinned then I will work on porting this and the StoneChromeKillerX themes for it.

I was wondering if you had a cab for your clock while I wait for your TP2 versions (I am using ENRGZ28 ROM V. 31909 but like your work but it does not fuly work on it but I really like the clock to hold me over) Thanks so much.

[edit] Installed a rom without TF3D (cloudyfa_6.5.03), next installed all three cab-files, including soft-reset between installs, however after last soft-reset the TF3D plugin isn't showing in SETTINGS\Today

I don't understand why the taskbar won't install for you it is running on many roms but I have never heard of the rom your running please ask the rom builder what the start icon dll file is named in that rom. Then I will have a better Idea how to help you.

Seems a lot of effort to get it installed, doesn't seem to be working for me properly, probably a fault on my part...
but the background is Black, the rest is Blue (like in the pictures)

How do I get the background set with one the images provided? such as your screenies... I have tried via the Today screen, and it's all fine (before TF3D is up) then it goes Black...

Any clues? I mean it looks nice and what not, is there a way to get the original icons along the top back? (battery, connection, volume)


I'm not asking for help in general for this, I could also restore back via TF3DConfig but would rather have this theme, as it's the nuts.

To get the background first load goto settings tab in touchflow, select wallpaper tab. then in pop up select use default. Now return to wallpaper tab agian and select no in pop up it will give you a search box that opens to my pictures in the drop menu select "my documents" and all the wallpapers i provided are in there.

A real nice and wonderful theme, but I have some issue / questions.

In TF3D, on settings tab, then data option, the background is white. But the text is white too, so it is unreadable.

Is there a way to have the S2U2 locking system starts when the phone starts? I would like, if this is possible, to remove the SIM protection, and use S2U2 instead. And I would like as well that my phone be protected when it starts so nobody can use it without the pin code. (btw do you lock the phone if there are several errors in code?)

Is there a way to translate your theme, I'm french. Is it a matter of translating some text files?

Is there a way to setup my phone so my windows mobile be in english?

edit : oh and is there a way to call S2U2 when I do a long press on my end key?

Something strange too, I have locked phone with end key, and then my phone went idle, so I open it again, I had to unlock it with the slider, but after that I had to unlock it again with the classic way. No way to tell S2U2 to completely unlock the phone so I do not have to do it twice?

Edit 2 : I have two other issues with this theme though, one critical, one minor.

The critical one is that I'm unable to delete a SMS. I go on touchflo 3D to SMS tab, I click menu, and then delete, when I do that it moves me to another tab. I still have the confirmation window "do you really want to delete", I click "yes", but it does not delete anything.

The minor one is that when I receive a call I see the original diamond touch answering system for about a second before S2U2 replaces it...

Thanks again for this wonderful theme. I have an issue though, unsure if this is theme related, perhaps you can say...

Now with this new theme, on the SMS tab in TF3D, I do not have the "create new message" button anymore, I have to hit "menu" then create new message, and as the "create new" is on the bottom, there are problems (see below). I think a new message button is more important than those "+" and "-" magnifying glasses (usually I type the screen to open the message).

So now the other issue with this theme, when I have to use the menu buttons on the bottom, and a menu entry that is at the same level as the different tabs, then it selects the tab instead of the menu item, so I'm unable to click on a menu item. Any workaround?

Thanks for your reply. I did read the txt file first, it said i have to first install 'tf7x-by-probex.cab' file...i unzipped all zip files but could not find a file exactly by that name.
i have these .cab files in that theme folder on my PC:

Hi love the theme ut ive encountered one problem, for some reason ive managed to change the tfed background, it is now just a black screen with a white square in the top left hand screen. The home background is fine, it is the other ones that have changed. I have changed the background through settings > wallpaper.

The rom makes no difference it will run on anything

BUT IT MUST NOT BE THE XBOXMOD OF TOUCH PRO 2 SOFTWARE

The touch pro 2 manila files are not the same as the original manila files.
As for suggesting a rom??? Depends on what device your on? I ran and tested on many different touch pro roms but again you must read the release notes closely on the home made cooked roms be sure they are not running the touch pro 2 software to run this theme.

And yes on any stock rom this theme will run faster then the stock one. As it is fully cfc compressed the stock roms are not. CFC compression cuts the file size of the image by more then 1/2 what the stock ones are.

Translation to french... the slider is the only file that has english on it the rest is controlled by whatever the rom language is as far as I know. :confused:

You only need to install one or the other of those files they are both task bar files, the mighty rom names the start icon .dll something different then the blue VGA taskbar. both are for WWE. most roms will only need the blue VGA cab installed. after installing you need to navigate to your start/settings/today and select the bellUI theme to turn your taskbar blue.

That is a rom issue not a theme issue the theme does not effect the names of the tabs.

I don´t find them (looking with Manila Editor too) and also noone can tell me how to change the rest. ( And of course it is not the Dialer_Background_port ).

I have the Touch Pro from Alltel as well and just downloaded this theme! Let me tell you Probex you did an amazing job!

First open the zip file and inside you will find a folder called TF7X-White-Fonts-By-Probex. Open that folder or unzip i don't remember but you will find a cab file that is named White-TF7X-Probex. Put that file in your windows folder through sync and then download it to your device NOT YOUR STORAGE CARD! Then you will see that it will ask you to do a soft reset. After that then do the same thing but with the TF7X-White-S2A-theme.cab file. Then do the same thing with the Probex-blue-vga.cab file. When you are done then you have to do to the today menu and reactivate the touch flo 3d. Then you can follow Probex's steps to get one of his pics in the background because by default you will have a black background on the HTC. Hope that helps!

I noticed that on my HTC Touch Pro I have an O and a compas or something for Opera Mobile instead of the icon that is in the original picture. Is there a way to change that icon? I also noticed that the icon that i have for my music tab is different as well....... any way to change that?

The installation instructions are a bit vague though. I didn't do the S2U2-full-TF7X-VGA.cab as I have S2U2 already (this is the slide lock and clocks). I also didn't install the the PROBEX-blue-vga.cab (this is the taskbar icons).

Once installed, I have some issues:
- the volume screen (pressing the volume buttons) doesn't show correctly
- when I choose to answer a text message, the threaded view opens (slowly), followed by the "single message screen".... is there a way to choose between them?

I downloaded this theme and must have done something out of order and it is not running fully. Can you tell me how to uninstall so I can follow the correct order to reinstall. Or can I reinstall in the correct order and get it to work like that. Need some help. It would be much appreciated. Used directions given on freewarepocketpc.com. Did get WAD2 installed and the portrait and landscape themes from the links provided on the page, but had problems after that. I think I tried to download themes before the WAD2. ANyway. I need soem help to get this striaghtened out on me phone.

Thanks for your reply. I did read the txt file first, it said i have to first install 'tf7x-by-probex.cab' file...i unzipped all zip files but could not find a file exactly by that name.
i have these .cab files in that theme folder on my PC:
PROBEX-blue-MightyRom-taskbar.cab
white-tf7x-probex.cab
tf7x-white-s2a-theme.cab
s2u2-full-tf7x-vga.cab
probex-blue-vga.cab

Please excuse my 'noob'iness, and tell me which files should I install out of all that i mentioned above.

I have the same question. But for HTC Touch HD. Is this ProbeX gonna work on my device? Has anyone got it installed on such a PPC?
The Read me file can not be followed. Not the same file names inside as the ones that it is talked about.

i followed the directions but when i try to reactivate htc sense it keeps telling me to tap here to launch sense..after i do so it tries to load then does it again

thanks. it appears good but it doesnt work on windows 6.5, i tried it but it hangs my cellphone, also it is difficult to remove it.
