WIFI and Roaming

strange question here,
now when u go to a different country and use your internet connection u'll get charged at roaming rates....

BUT if u pick up a WIFI connection i always thought that since ur using a different connection u wont get charged....however was told by UK-Tmobile that u would get charged.

have i lost the plot?

T-Mobile must have misunderstood your question. Your WiFi has nothing to do with there network. However, most WiFi hotspots are not free of charge

but am i rite in thinking if u connect to a wifi u wont get charged... i'll have to correct T-Mobile :cool:
i know hotspots u have to sign up for but thats a monthly charge not usage.:confused:
