View Full Version : Quick question about loading flashing

I have a Diamond NAM 3G unit. And am tired of waiting for an offical update from HTC.

i just want to make sure that i can HARDSPL this phone, just like the EURO version, and load a new ROM.

Is there anything i should know thats different since its the NAM unit?

Also, can someone give me a link to the latest version of an offical HTC rom? i cant seem to find it.

nothing different for a NAM unit as far as hardspl or flashing roms...

I put hardspl on my diamond, and tried to flash the newest factory HTC rom. i get 1% and then the phone resets, and i get an error on my PC that says ERROR 244 - INVALID MODEL ID


whats the deal?

I thought i would be able to install any rom since the hardspl is unsigned or whatever

Well, i went thru the steps of changing the model ID of the NBH with the NBHUTIL, and its flashing now. i just dont understand why i had to do that. i thought the 1.40 olinex spl was for allowing me to flash any kind of rom on it.

can someone explain please, i'd really like to understand.
