The only thing I have seen that has the capability to make task and menu bar transparent is wm6.5. wisbar cannot make themes transparent. You actually have to blend your bars in with the theme. Therefore, if you use a different theme, transparency does not exist until you create bars that blend with that new theme.

sorry if that is confusing.

I did ask what actually made the task bar transparent for 6.5 in another thread but I do not believe anyone answered.

To be more specific, I need 6.5 VGA shell theme. mtstmp has come out with a QVGA 6.5 shell (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492203). Any hopes of getting a VGA port soon?

For those still running 6.1 (like me), you can use dcinobar. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=969598&postcount=12 The softkey bar disappears from the Today screen, which is really what I was after. If you open a program (ie programs, file explorer) the softkey bar reappears, but will vanish when you return to the today screen.
