Polling: Which ROM is the best for Atom Life???

Hi all..especially Atom Life users...

i hv tried so many rom by Medkid, TranMinhMan, both CE n Manilla 2D...
i hv simply one question..

"Which ROM is the best for Atom Life?"

Please give me your honest opinion n argument...

TranMinhMan's ROM was great, but freeze for a moment when i make a call or receive a call..untill now, i hv no idea to solve this bug..but overall, it's Great ROM...

There's no such thing as a 'best' rom.. but the ones i'd recommend are any of the PDAViet ones. You should try their latest WM6.1 ROM and just fiddle around with it a bit until its tweaked to perfection like everyone else has done. As for the phone freezing during a call... install a PDAViet ROM then see if that still occurs.. if so you might wanna update your Radio version

I agree. At the moment I'm on the "clean" 20931 ROM, but I'm gonna get rid of that one and go back to one of the earlier. I think all the integrated 20XXX ROMs from PDAViet are pretty good (the ones with Manila 2D), but they have their problems. Much of those problems are memory related, like Manila stopping when launching Opera and then restarting, pushing Opera back in the background. And on some PocketIE has a problem where it suddenly exits on a webpage with a few too many pictures. That's probably related to not having enough memory as well. But if you can live with that, I'd recommend one of those PDAViet ROM's. If not you might just as well stick with the (oh, so boring) last official MWG ROM. Me, I wouldn't put an original ROM on my son's PDA...which is why his Exec has the TJs_21014_Atom_Exec_M2D_Black_ROM. I'm sad to say that it's actually more stable than my Atom Life! Quite embarassing, really...

PDAVIET ROM WM6.1 Core 20753 by TranMinhMan

This one is stable on my AtomLife, cos without the M2D.
I can't use Opera with M2D on my AtomLife......it will halt :confused:

Start up not really fast but smooth to use.

How does that work with Manila 2D? I prefer that embedded in the ROM, it seems to work better then. Do you use it?

My atom life seems don't like to work with Opera under M2D.....

I already tried all WM6.1 Roms for Atom Life as many as i can find in this forum...:D
And now i'm happy using Manilla 2D 19971 T2M:)
i will try to update my Radio version...:rolleyes:

Opera runs very slow, but it never crash or stopping Manilla 2D, or something like that..
May be it was because i use Atom Life White Limited Edition..:D

But I prefer using Opera Mini...very fast n stable...opening friendster, facebook, livescore, live betting, e-mail..and i hv no problem with that...:)

I have tried to download the ROM with NO success, maybe it is down and N/A anymore? Can anyone lend a hand here as I have tried the PDAVIET Username and password and nothing happens?

I installed almost all ROMS on my O2 Atom Life. But every ROM had one or two major problems though rest of the builtin softwares worked well.

Just 10 Minutes before writing this post I uninstalled 6.5 Beta 7 and re-installed PDAVIET ROM WM6.1 20753 by TranMinhMan which was working well before I installed 6.5. 6.5 was working well and all the features were good but its powerhogger. I tried almost all tweaking with it using ACT or custom registry settings, but nothing worked. Finally I decided to install PDAVIET WM6.1 20753 by TranMinhMan.

Agree bajok is best but not best in terms of downloading the files bcos the sendspace is freaking slow and non responsive when too many pple download. perhaps someone has a better website to download his work at mediafire or somewhere else "free" ? :confused::rolleyes: that will be GREAT !
