Device hang up on "Preparing for first use"

Hello,
i have a big problem.
After the installation of some Roms i have to do a hard reset becaue my Diamond chrashes.
So now I installed another Rom and the "Preparing your device for first use" screen appears but after this, nothing appens.
So i don't have any idea what i can do to fix this Problem...

Did anyone of you can help me please?

Might help to mention which rom you are having the issue with, which Radio version etc.

Radio ist 1.09.25.23 and the Rom ist Udks new Topaz R2.

I have the same experience with udK Syrius Topaz R0. The device keeps hardresetting even after I have installed another rom. Eventually, I restored to stock rom and install another cooked rom again. The problem seems to have been solved.

There are other users having the same problem with this rom. Although some have reported no problem, I would keep watching before installing this rom again.

How long are you waiting on this screen. It does take a few minutes for it to finish what it's doing.

Oh i wait about half an hour...

Now I changed the Rom and flashes Aztor and all is working.

Is it possible that the version of HardSPL is the reason for the hang up with udk's Rom?
At the moment i use hard-SPL 1.4, but I don't know how i can install the 1.93 Version.
When I download the zip.package from this tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400950 the package contains only the RUU_Signed.nbh file and I have no idea how to install this file?!

You need the custom RUU to flash the spl to your phone :)

You need the custom RUU to flash the spl to your phone :)


Custom RUU does not seem to work with olipro's SPL 1.93. Try this one HERE (http://rapidshare.com/files/202095661/Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex1.93.zip) which I know works.

ichselbst all you need to do is unpack this and run the ROM Update utility (RUU) follow insructions and wait till screen staes finished.
