What languages are most important? [Archive]

I am making a little poll here which languages are needed most!
I am not going to make three versions of my future ROMs! So with this poll, I want to determin the top 4 languages and make a version with those 4 languages next time (English will always be in the ROMs)!

Exactly. I don't care, which languages are in the ROM, because I make my personal ROMs anyway! And in those ROMs I will always add German! :D

Don't think there's enough space in the VOX's 64MB's rom.

I've no problem with english, on the contrary in this months with only english I got used to it...it is more effective and words are shorter :p

BTW...this poll seems to a me a race...so let's race!!:D:cool::D

Portuguese.
I can't find many ROMs in that language and i think is not proportional to the speaking people (240 milion). Even we could use generaly in English i think we deserve more.

I neither have Russian nor Portuguese language files. That's why they aren't in the list! And no, not all languages fit in one ROM!

May be you can keep this thread open 'forever' so that every time you plan to cook a new ROM, you can check out which are the 4 hottest language then :D

As french was the diplomacy language and is the (or one of the) official languages of many international instances, it appears clearly to me, that it must be in any multilanguage ROM

But that's my point of view... :D

My post hadn't the intention to say that spanish is not widely used as language in the worl. It was just to make clear a point... if the mui files used for translating the rom are not available....the rom can't be translated...so that's the point.

When Wm6.5 std will come out, you will have the prove of that.

P.S: Even if the rom in my language is available I still use english ... because of it's immediacy
