The touch screen on a friend of mine's MDA stopped working in the middle and had lost it's alignment making the device hard to use. So I picked up an oem LCD assembly and replaced it. Now no matter how many times I try to align the screen it just keeps cycling. It responds to the taps and goes full cycle but just goes back to the begining. I have search everwhere to find a solution. I have done it in portrait and landscape I have hard reset it and upgraded the rom but still have the same problem. Any Ideas?

Did you try the way yet where you must put a dummy file named welcome.??? (cant recall the extension) in the root of youre phone?
EDIT: make a textfile and make sure extensions are visible and renamle the WHOLE name (including .txt) to welcome.not in the root of youre phone, then restart it and normally voila :D

I was able to get past the alignment screen but am unable to align it. It just keeps cycling as I press the markers. The touch screen is way out of alignment.

I was able to get past the screen by deleting the welcome.lnk with pocket controller. My beggest problem is that I can't calibrate the screen in order to make the touch screen usable. I do not know what the problem is. The screen responds when I touch the marker and goes through the cycle but never stops. I have tried going through it as much as 30 times portrait and landscape and it will not accept the alignment.
