Hi all
Here it is Manilla 2D for Magician
It is extended rom taken from swampy WM6.1 rom(special thnx to Swampy).
Install the cabs in the folder according to the arrangement of the numbers to get exact working
Manilla 2D.
It work fassssssst and smoooooth

there is another manilla 2d compatible with magician,i test more than 3 copies of manilla untill get this one,but it is so nice fassst and smoooth
u can control with the setting of manilla 2d in my copy.:D

I think this is taking too much memory if the magician is just 64 mb, even installing all items in storage card.

I would definitely prefer Home 2, or SCLPC++.

yes taking about 30 mega with accessories but its ok, manilla 2d is better that any programs,may be sbp shell good too,but manilla 2d better, may be if wm 6.5 will release on magician that will solve this problem.
i have PDA2K wm6.5 21189 it is not needs manilla 2d,because of new good internal progs comes with the wm 6.5,so we didnot need manilla 2d.
and also i have the magician wm 6.1 contains manilla 2d and the tow devices have 18 megs free internal memory.:cool:

Iàm using it too. But do you fix the Problem with the Picture Tab? I can`t see any Pictures at the TAB (No Picture Available).

no chance for install manilla 2d on sd memory because it requires high speed storage,so internal storage is recommended.

About software,there are many programs used in WM6.1:

1. in backup or restore: ppc PIM backup and restore.
2. in video applications: core player, tcpm player ,real player.
3. in audio applications: pocket player.
4. in explorer applications: resco explorer, total commander.
5. in keyboard system: vito zoom board,finger keyboard.
5. in image viewing: pocket cm image viewer.
6. in control setting: advanced config. v3.3.
7. in system & support programs: netcf 3.5, flash light 3.1.
8. in navigation system: garmin 5.00.2
9. in documentation: microsoft office 6.1(word,excel,power point,note),adobe acrobat reader.
10. in tv applications: web tv.
11. shut down program: ps shut xp.
12. in wifi control: ewf pocket pc.
13. in lock device: sus2, throttle lock.
14. manilla 2d and its main components.
15. small programs like: battery indicator, htc enlarge start menu.
16. support bluetooth program: dr.yar bluetooth 1.6

there are alotof dictionaries, games, accessories, but this is the important programs for any pocket pc.:cool:

homam_france, what program are using for installing cabs?
I use SkTools, but sometimes get problems installing cabs on SD-Card, as I get corrupted folders. In case of Manila2D, I get folders like "manilaprogram files" and "manilawindows" and the program doesn't work.

install it in sd ram by resco exlorer or by total commander.
dont use any software related to 2003 system.

resco and commander cannot process cabs internally. Only by winmobile. Winmobile has problems installing on SD.

u did not understand me.
put the original cabs in the sd memory then install it at the main storage.u cannot install manilla 2d on sd ram, try to install them in the internal memory not on the external memory(sd ram).

Unfortunately I have no solution, but have a lot of unsuccessful attempts to find the solution. May be this info can help someone to solve our problem.

On my Artemis all work great, but my Magician do not want to please me with working Photos & Videos.

I tried on different version of Manila & Album, with different 1Gb, 2Gb, 4Gb SD cards and with 16Gb SDHC cards - all the same "No Photo Available".

HTC Album (tried version 2.0_1818.3829.4 & 2_5_18221129_1) started from shortcut and shows all photo from all cards.

If I "Set Album as Favourite" in any folder (on My Device or on Storage Card) I see "'Folder Name' (ex. My Pictures) has now been set as your favourite album. Go to the Photos and Videos tab on TouchFLO to view the photos and videos in your favourite album" message, but in Manila - I see only "No Photo Available"

I copied Album & Manila files from Artemis (FlyROM 5.0 Manila WWE) - the same result...

Direct changing parameter

Is great to have Manila 2D on Magician and great skin too. But I also want the base skin the blue 1. I'd try to install it but the rusty clock still stays there. Can some1 tell me how to do it ?

I recently did a hard reset, decided I would try again with manilla 2d, I went for the orgiginal file from the porters forum. works a treat and I have the original blue skin (I'm not a fan of the gold one here).

it runs so much lighter than mobile shell and i haven't gotten a memory low since.

Youtube plugin won't work on my S100 (64mb) with Cotula WM6.1, version M2D 19b all versions.
Don't have much storage memory left, but mostly more then 8 MB storage space when adjusting slider.

When starting Youtube plugin it comes up with an error about the 8 MB storage space, even with a hard reset phone with enough space.

Maybe somebody has a workaround for it ?

i like this, been trying to slim it down a bit in my magician, basically try to keep the bits that work/useful, delete the bits that dont.
only installed m2d, m2dc and audiomanager(manually copied), added app shortcuts for launcher via registry
disabled the operator,people,faves,internet,weather,location and settings using m2dc,
deleted some bits of the themes disabled parts, have the audiomanager files in storage card/windows/ with an app called VJBrisk in the /windows/ folder to point to storage card, havent got album to work, but can use VJBrisk to make the album softkey point to another viewer.
atm phone is using 8.39mb storage, ~20-23mb ram.
