Hey RTT,

at first I want to say that the Rom is really nice, runs very fast!
But I found some bugs.

-Do you have a cab for the connection setup?
-When I start or reboot the device I have no chance to type in the PIN so I have to disable and enable the Phone module.
-The names in the new tabs Comm-Manager and Sounds aren't right.
-On the home-screen it isn't possible (after scrolling threw TF3D) to slide the calender up and down. So i can only see the first appointement.
-Opera isn't installed, isn't it? Do you or anyone else know how i can garnish the opera link in the internet tab with the new opera version?

So please go on with your great work! :)

Hi

1.you can try Mossis Connection Setup - please have a look in the XXX v2 thread there is in a post the cab as attachment.
2. Just click the answer call button
3. This is because its a Manila HD version - this is normaly
4. You have to click first on clock and if its marked black you can switch
5. Just install an opera version - it will work with the tab.

ich hab mir jetzt interessehalber mal deine Download RTT X TE UC: aufgespielt.

funzt soweit prima wie ich finde.


folgende fragen hätte ich dazu.

1) warum öffnet sich der kalender nach einem softreset?
2) wenn ich alle programme auf einmal schließen lasse ist auch das TF3D weg, weil der "start" task weg ist.

Dürfen wir hier deutsch schreiben, weil es eh ein GER Rom ist? ok, das macht es etwas einfacher.

Zunächst mal: großes Lob für das ROM! Sieht für mich sagenhaft aus und läuft (seit gestern mittag) schnell und stabil.

Klasse finde ich

das look & feel
die neue Tastatur, auch wenn ich ein wenig brauchte, bis ich die Umlaute gefunden hatte :eek: aber nun klappt es wie wild
das Fingermenu
die Möglichkeit, Tabs ausblenden zu können, ohne auf 3rd-Party-Apps gehen zu müssen (brauche kein Wetter, Aktien und Mucis-Tab)
den neuen Comm-Manager


Ein paar Kleinigkeiten sind mir aber auch noch aufgefallen:
1) Es wurde gesagt, "einfach Opera installieren, TF3D erkennt das dann".
Das funktionierte bei mir nicht (mit der neuesten Beta-Version). Weder waren die Favoriten da, noch wurde der Browser gestartet.
Abhilfe hat letztlich gebracht, die Opera6.adr in den (neu erstellten) Ordner \Windows\Opera zu kopieren und die Opera9.exe und OperaL.exe ins Windows-Verzeichnis zu kopieren. Dann funzt es

2) Ich hatte alle cabs, die ich so brauche, in einen Ordner INSTALL im internen Speicher gepackt. Die Installation hat (zumindest bei einigen) nicht funktioniert. Manchmal fehlte nur der Startmenü-Eintrag, manchmal war gar nichts da. Musste einiges manuell nachinstallieren, aber das ist ja auch nicht mehr Arbeit als bei anderen ROMs ;-)

3) Die Uhr auf Today scheint einen Grafik-Fehler zu haben: Heute nacht um 0:52h stand da 10.52h. Erst dachte ich, die Uhr war verstellt, war aber alles ok. Beim runterblättern auf 'mehr Kalendereinträge', war die dann erscheinende Uhr auch korrekt. Es scheint also nur eine "1" zu viel in den Grafiken zu sein.

Aber insgesamt muss ich wiederholen: Klasse ROM. Hatte die letzten Monate die AZTOR-ROMs drauf, aber das hier ist mein neuer Favorit.

PS: Was machen eigentlich die manila.exe_original.exe und manila.exe_patch.exe im SSMaPaVerzeichnis? Ich kenne SSMaPa, aber "meine" Version erkennt dieses Manila nicht...

Your last ROM was definitely my favorite! Nice haptics and style, good speed and battery power......i even prefer it over the AZTOR ROMs which have served me well in the last yrs.

yes, I found that bug too!
But it isn't such a big problem, when you write "im" and T9 writes automatically "I'm" you can press the delete key and then you have "im" back.

How can i get a keyboard with German Umlauts? Even if I set the language to German, it does not display Umlauts, which is kinda tedious.

Hi,
really nice rom. The operation speed is really acceptable, not as I know from other roms. But the battery lifetime is worser.
Before I used the "udK_Syrius_HD_R0_GER" rom. With this rom, I could use my battery under normal condition 3 days (33% per day). During the last 24h my battery is much more empty as usual (70% within 24h) under the same condition.
I didn't change the radio rom with this rom update now. I still have the radio version 1.00.25.05, as I used with the udK_Syrius rom. Is this situation known by someone else?

Hi there,
first of all I'd like to thank you for your ROM's, I love the look and feel and the speed of those. The only problem I got with your last one is the battery consumption. I normaly had around 30-50 % battery loss/day. With the new one it went up to 70-90% within 12 hours! I am using the 1.11.25.1 Radio, so this shouldn't be the problem.

EDIT 2009-03-20: Switched to the 1.00.25.08 Radio and now battery consumption droped to normal. Strange, but true :D

As I'm a lazy guy, I'm not very keen on translating my whole post. So the one strange issue only:

There seems to be a failure in converting time to graphics. At 0.52 h (24 hour german format, according to 12:52 a.m.) the time is shown as 10.52 h.

But alltogether it's a great ROM. My new favorite, after using A.Z.T.O.R. ROMs the last month...

Hey you guys,

I've got a really strange problem with all variants of this rom. My phone is not able to send any SMS. They get stuck in the Outbox and were not send.
Another problem is receiving SMS. The messages arrive my phone only when I perform a SoftReset.
My Provider is Vodafone in Germany and the number of the "Servicezentrale" is the right one.

The problems do not occur while using the old RTT Rom (xXx v2).

Has anybody an idea to solve the problems or can recommend me another german ROM?

I can't confirm that. My provider is simyo, also in germany. Sending and receiving of SMS works normally.

I just wonder, why there is such a little traffic in this thread. For me it's one of the best ROMs ever in spite of some little faults.

And I wonder furthermore, if RTT is doing some more developement of this ROM to solve the problems, which were mentioned here. I really would appreciate that! Come on RTT ;)

My Provider is E-Plus with a Prepaidcard from Medion (Alditalk). Everything works fine for me so far since I downgraded to the 1.00.25.08 Radio, just my bluetooth headset freacks up from time to time, but that depends more on the headset then the ROM I guess.

@Mike: I hope too, that RTT is going to work on these ROM's further more as I love them. For me those are the best german ROM's out there since bepe's ROM's.

There are some issues with the album:
1. When I look at a picture in the album and rotate the D, then the picture rotates. That's okay, but then I cannot go the nex picture by sweeping with a finger. Sweeping leads to a rotation of the current picture.
2. When I take a picture with the cam in landscape modus, then the resultiung pciture is in portrait modus.
