I'm now trying some MMS application (from ArcSoft) and this is the result:

- ArcSoft MMS Composer 4.2.8.1 (in this thread) = CANNOT RUN
- ArcSoft MMS Composer 2.0.0.22 = RUN, BUT ONLY ONCE (every soft reset)
- ArcSoft MMS Composer 4.2.8.1 PDAVIET = "Message" menu cannot be accessed

Wow, that was fast man. Thanks. Will download it once I'm free. One particular bug I found in Cotulla's ROM was that the LED doesn't blink orange if there was an event (missed call, SMS, low battery) or green is in idle mode. The only time the LED lights up is when I'm charging. Any possible fix to that?

It only does resolution 640x480, zoom gives scrambled image
Maybe that is because of incompatible camera_sensor1.dll
image scaling routines?

It uses HKLM\Software\HTC\CamerB instead of Camera so easily
deinstalled without damage.

There is 5 Cabinet Installation files, are you have to install this CAB?
- Java_MIDlet_WM61_Cotulla_SP1.cab (Java MIDlet Fix)
- WM6.1_MMS_Fix_Arcsoft_5.0.cab (MMS Fix)
- HTC Network Wizard.cab (not too important, leave it)
- WM6.1_SP1_for_CotullaROM_withTodayLines.cab (System FIX, with today lines)
- WM6.1_SP2_for_CotullaROM_withoutTodayLines.cab (System FIX, without Today Lines)

Hello! Excuse me for my poor english but i have a big problem :( because I used WWE_O2 Rom and the process upgrade abort, the red led turn on and the magician stay on "usb" mode. I tested Multi-Port/USB TTY but I can't select \\.\WCEUSBSH001 or \\.\WCEUSBSH002 because I don't have that in the menu. Do you have an idea for help me :confused: ? I think SRS WOW make this... because it give fully-accelerated Audio... :D

You can see the difference... if you use Without Today Lines, it same with the Cotulla's standard rom in Today Scree, no Today separator lines... If you choose With Today Lines, you hhave today Separator Lines in your today Screen... it only the difference between that

Therefore, I installed the Cotulla ROM. I still have the radio R1.12.00 and my installed (new version of) TomTom doesn´t work. It actually starts (shows the hands, etc), but says "doesnt work with your device".

We are following Cotulla's threads and checking some cabs like wireless manager, config tool and installing them in. Yes there are some real useful stuff in your feature pack, but as you know Magician's small memory makes it a tough decision to install all the service pack, is that possible to really share the separate cabs/ exes and some of the cool diamond ring tones in separate files so that we can make a choice?

or is there a way we can extract and separate them from your pack? Sorry to ask this...

You can install MMS & J2ME at the SD card, but for the main FP install it only on main storage.
Use utility tool like cab manager to remove some files, their shortcuts, & their registry inside it, or you can simply delete the file (ringtone & themes only) after you installed it.
But, please..ask for his permission first & do not reupload it anywhere.. Use the edited cab files for your own purpose only.. :)

Hmm, that makes the MMS Addon useless for me. I often change and add accounts in Outlook.
By the way, i can't install your feature pack 3 beta. There is a message that the CAB is not certified or something and installation breaks up then.

P.S. FP3 Install Problem solved. Had to give free more memory in the memory manager.

Update: i installed Feature Pack 3 over the old Service Pack 2. Installed also the Java Environent but not the MMS Outlook Plugin because of the the "no new account" problem. FP3 works fine, no problems occured yet. But a wish i have. To select which modules i want to install. Or a second FP3 Version with single cabs.

Hi Cotulla, nice ROM you got there (I use the WWE O3 ROM). Now I applied the service pack and noticed some bugs and feature wishes:


on the Todayscreen, left softkey is Messaging, not phone anymore (apparently your MMS composer refuses to let me change the softkey assignment -.-)
the nueROM dialogbox that should ask me whether to connect as Activesync or USB flashdisk does not appear
Excel/Word are missing - where can I find them?
Where is Windows Live? I need it for contact sync ^^
is there ever a German localized version going to appear?


It would be really nice if you could adress this in future releases!

For those who are having problems with OBEX Bluetooth file transfers...
Just look at this registry key

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Obex] "ObexServiceMask"=dword:00000002

I looked at my x51v registry and found it was 00000003

So I put it at 3 also on the Magician and it fixed the OBEX BT FTP...
It works in Resco Explorer (Sent To / Bluetooth Recipient)
