Blackspider, if you do the Hard SPL in your viva you can install any rom afterwards. So if you already did, go ahead and install this rom.

What is the difference between this ROM and original Opal ROM?
I am having now 6.5 ROM, I am not happy with that. Frequent crashes.
I want to revert to original ROM, keeping in view that I changed SPL. How can I do that?

Will anybody answer all my questions?
Thanks

Mirchichamu:
From the PDAVIET post (and thanks to google translate), the changes in this version are:

Version of PDAVIET V05 WM6.1 for HTC Touch Viva (Opal)
- Based on a Ship ROM's lines: 1.27.707.1 WWE (already introduced)
- There are editing and development of more OEM system to improve speed.
- Replace the new OS: Build 21014.1.6.0
- Use the Skin for WMP, Calculator, ... collect on Wiki
- Change and edit the PIN shown on the bar, to track more.
- ROM BigStorage have, after nearly Up 164Mb RAM and approximately 70Mb.
- Use of Tool Build Bepe ROM's. Thank BEPE!

Also, which version of 6.5 ROM are you using? I am using v11 and is quite stable (no crashes since I installed it, one week ago)
If you want revert to the original ROM, you just have to flash your phone again using a 6.1 original rom (I guess there should be one in the forum). I would recommend you to use this version instead, as it seems faster and that weights less than the original

Thanks vigos.
I already flushed with this ROM. It looks to be promising. But I will see what will happen when I install all my programs.
Win 6.5 didn't work for me. I was having frequent crashes.

VIGOS!! I installed all my programs. Its very cool. Much better than 6.5. Until now no crashes. Big storage like 6.5 but much stable and fast. I would like to advise all to come back to this version.

I have been using it the last weekend and it is fast (although I am not sure if it is faster than 6.5 v11) and stable, but I believe (and it is only an impression) it consumes more battery than the 6.5 rom (v11) could it be? Have any of you noticed something like it?

My own impression is that it is much better than 6.5 version 11. It is faster than 6.5. I didn't notice any battery drain. I had frequent crashes with 6.5, so I reverted back to this version of 6.1.

I don't think so.
