Help, the buttons don't work on my phone

i'm running a rom (see sign) and the buttons only work after a reboot, after that they like don't work at all.. i gotta use my touch screen pen to use my phone...

any idea whats wrong with it?

I have the same problem as you after awhile using a crc rom. I think its 13 something?
Sometimes I can't type using the keyboard, sometimes the touch screen becomes unusable till I turn the screen off, or sometimes the face buttons dont work. \

There are many threads about problems with the D/Pad connector or the chip on the D/Pad. This I think is the prblem rather than anything to do with the ROM.

If you find the thread about fixing the white screen problems you'll find ideas on possible fixes for the d/pad problems - in particular re-seating the connector (one with two screws) and also an idea about placing some padding over the d/pad chip to put a little pressure on it. Otherwise a new d'pad board might solve the problem (which is quite common).
