Hello all,

I apologize in advance if I have missed this solution - I've searched but found nothing, and 553 pages in the original thread is a bit much to sift through.

I'm on a Verizon Samsung Omnia i910, and running SPB Mobile Shell 2.1.5.

I've recently downloaded dredd's Mario Galaxy theme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2251173&postcount=1628) for SPB Mobile Shell. I've copied the files in the 'SPB MS2' folder of the ZIP file to the '\Program Files\SPB Mobile Shell\' directory on my phone, but when I do so and soft reset, I cannot access mobile shell at all. My phone starts on Samsung's Today screen, and my right soft button is 'SPB Menu.' Pushing this button does nothing. I have narrowed the problem to the 'qa_layouts.dat' file. If I copy every file besides that one, all works (buttons, graphics, etc.), but obviously the layout does not appear as designed. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe the Omnia is QVGA / WQVGA. I think the new Omnia HD will be WVGA. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct on the WQVGA. The problem is your using a theme for a QVGA device which means it is not set up correctly. Everything needs to be changed to fit your device.
