its not done by him or A.J (i think)... its made by phamquang from pdaviet...

Some bad fact about this rom:

1. Sometimes the ROM is very slow, especially in work with Windows Media.

2. Very bad suuport of russian language. SMS, Tasks, Contacs, ect. ("Standard" WM Applications) work correct with russian encoding, but Audio Manager, Mobile Word, and in some cases Windows Media Player have wrong encoding.

But, it's very good!!! Very-very good ROM!

About this wm 6.5 ROM. Internet calling uses already the Internal speaker properly for playback so we can hear well. the bad it stills uses the external mic so we hear all things around the phone and have echo in the remote phone.

Somebody said that wm 6.5 will have echo cancelation. Is there any way to fix this bad behaviour and have Internet calls like GSM calls. With the same speaker and Mic.

I have one question though, if I flash my Viva with this rom, and then I do a hard reset, it will restore the 6.1 version that I currently have? Not sure how the hard reset works after flashing the device, and wanted to know in case I don't like the version or I want to go back.

No, you'll restore this "clean" rom, without any data you stored there (as contacts, documents, applications, photos). The data will be saved only on microSD card.

And you unlike it you could restore your original rom by flashing it again.

In some cases it is a little bit slower, but at all it's more faster than WM 6.1 (IMHO).

Is it really worth to change the original ROM for this? These applications I don't use. If there is some major differences like it is very fast as compared to 6.1 or more storage as compared to 6.1 then it worths.

dude this rom is much faster than the 6.1 and memory storage is 160mb internal storage, the titanium plugon is also cool and this os much better than 6.1

for opal after 21189 the next build is 21198 but that rom has some problems so wait for the next releas

ive installed this rom and its pretty good. has its pros and cons.

ill start with the cons

cons:
1. psshutxp - the shut down does not work, just turns the screen off and if you push any button it comes back on.
2. titanium - just doesnt work good at all for me. is not very responsive to the touch. and my e mail and the text messages just do not appear, i get the error icon the red one with the white x.
3. if i push the power button it does the same thing as the shut down on psshutxp. i like how on the orginal rom it locks the screen and the buttons.
4. i dont like how the touch flo does not display the bookmars on the internet tab.
5. i dont like how i cant remove some of the programs from the program tab in touch flo

pros:
1. i like the honeycomb, not sure why, but i really like it
2. i like the battery icon and how it displays the battery percent above the battery.
3. it seems to load faster than the shipping rom on my viva.
4. i really like the new menus. nice and finger friendly
5. i like how it uses IE as the default browser. nothing against other browsers, i just like a simple browser. opera was to much browser for me, and skyfire was just for showing off.


other toughts:
do i got to run the hardspl each time before i flash?

when i change my phone to vibration mode from normal mode then although signal of network is there and cell is in on condition but somehow when someone call it tell phone switched off....but ok if i only change to vib mode and restart my viva....:o:o
