Radical Comic Designer version 1.1 for Windows Mobile is out.

New in 1.1:
- New optional “Guidance Dots” that make it easier to resize captions and speech bubbles.
- Fixes for working with cameras on some phones.

Pretty simple to use:
- Load it up, choose "New from Picture" or "New from Camera" from the menu to set the picture.
- Add Speech Bubbles and Captions to your hearts content.
- Double tap the bubbles to edit the text.
- Re-size the bubbles and captions by dragging on the lower right hand corner of them.
- Then "Save as Picture" to export the new comic.

Requires .NetCF 2.0 and should work on any device with a touch screen (have not tested on all devices yet though).

Just tried this on my Fuze. Works great, but could use more features. Like more voice bubbles to choose from, more resizing options, and maybe some different fonts to choose from. Nice work.

When you say "more resizing options"... what do you have in mind? Currently the resizing is simply dragging the corner of a caption/bubble to resize. Are you thinking of a "size to fit text" sort of thing?

Tried this on my Omnia i910 with WM 6.1. Didn't work. The trial version loaded, but when I selected a picture to load it crashed every time.

I hadn't tested this on a device with a screen resolution the size of the Omnia's (240 x 400). I'll see about getting a rom image setup with that resolution and test on that.

have not tried it, but does it support speech bubbles with curves instead of rectangular? eg oval, rounder corners etc

I've updated this to version 1.1 (see the first post, primarily to add the "Guidance dots" to make it easier to know how to resize the bubbles and captions.

Also includes a few various bug fixes.

If you have any requests just let me know! (Additional bubble types and a few effects are in the works...)

I will try this, but currently, it is very plain.

Add more bubbles (thought bubbles, transparency, etc.) and fonts for the words. The more the better!
