note that compatibility with RAPH800 (GSM) is untested, does not work on RAPH100 (GSM). It does work for sure on RAPH500 (CDMA) though.

If there is enough demand for this on RAPH800/100, I'll figure out how to get it working.

do you plan on fixing the issue with manila or just skipping that since i would assume tf3d2 will work fine since the manila is built to work correctly in landscape anyways?

well, built correctly is ... subjective, but once i figure out what the kb driver IST is sending, sure.

I have RAPH100(GSM) and I'm really pissed of with short kb backlight so if You can manage to make it working with RAPH100 then I can do beta testings :)

MAJOR updates on no2chem's site:
v1.2 update information: (http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/post/2009/03/18/nueKBLight-12.aspx)
I noticed that sliding the keyboard open no longer turned on the device, so that is fixed in this new version – be sure to soft reset after installing.
v1.3 update information: (http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/post/2009/03/18/nueKBLight-13.aspx)
Ok, after a LOT of playing around, I discovered that Manila monitors some obscure registry entry that the kb driver sets. I also added the ability to turn off the power-on on slide feature via the following registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd]
“SlideWakeup”=dword:0

Faster rotation?

Can anyone confirm that this app not only keeps the keyboard back light on, but also helps to rotate the screen faster?

it seems to rotate to landscape a bit quicker, the flip back seems uneffected, but none the less a nice app...
