Upgrading/Downgrading Radio Stack: Error 114

This is driving my crazy.
My Magician (imate Jam) have a radio version 1.13, I wanted to flash the WM6.1 rom but I got the error mentioned in the title.
I've tried almost every other rom that have the radio version 1.12.1 but none worked, always error 114. I've also tried the radio only updates from the ftp but it's the same error (I've tried version other than 1.12.1, including 1.13 the one I have).
My bootloader is version 1.00 if that matters.

- Can anyone give me something else to try?
- Would an SD flash help?

I hate bumping my own threads but I'm really stuck here.
I'm still out of ideas to try. And I couldn't find an SD image that I could try to flash and see if that could help...

Do you have an SD card inserted.
try removing it before you flash.

i just had the same problem and after removing the sd card it went no problem

I do believe that I tried iwth and without a card inserted but I'll give it another shot just to make sure.

The device is unlocked.
Flashing any rom works as long as I remove the radio_.nbf file (that applies to the 6.1 rom but obviously it won't run with 1.13 installed).
Otherwise, if I keep the radio file, it just hangs for a couple minute and then exits with the 114 error.

I've attached the log from an attempt to flash your HTCMAG_ROM_WWE_O2 without an SD card inserted in the device. I've renamed the file to txt to be able to attach it.

Seems like there's no software solution to my issue, I've been seraching nonstop and I found someone on different forums saying that the error I'm getting means that the Flash-ROM cannot be erased and rewritten, so it needs to be repaired (or changed).

Looks I'm suck with what I have. (But please correct me if I'm wrong).

For reference, this is what I'm getting:
17:56:19:455 [err] : RWipe Data Error.
17:56:19:816 [err] : BL UpdateRadio Error.

Hello.
I had the same "Error 114" and "Error 113" updating to WWE 04 cotulla rom (thanks a lot for your work!).

The problem was not enought battery!!! The Magician uses the battery in the update process and the USB charge/power supply doesnt work during the proccess, so, if you have low battery power, the rom write/erase cant be done.

I couldnt charge the battery in the Magician after "Error 114", but a friend has another PDA with the same kind of battery and, after a full charge in his PDA and a battery exchange, the update process finished successfully.

i've solved the problem installing activesync, leave it opened and uncheck "allow usb connection" in activesync settings

Same problem here ... the batery is to low but !!!! you can charge the batery with the unworking phone:
Plug usb power supply in and remove the batery case on the back. the red light will turn on and the device is loading batery.
Your 6.1 image is flashed now !!! great man ! you rokk
