Cotulla (who manages to break wm2003 boundary for magician - Xda mini) said he is willing to make a rom for alpine, which he doesn't have.. if there someone who has unused Alpine and has a very kind soul, please send an Alpine for Cotulla.. (or in this case, maybe NOKSER can send it to Cotulla -- hey, you got your chances man..)

i dont mean any harm with this post.. just laying down the facts for this community.. hoping this forum can be more crowded once wm6 or even 6.5.3 can be cooked for Alpine, since it has the best form factor to be used as a game emulator..

keeping my finger crossed and my hopes up.. Merry xmas in advance guys n gals.. keep Alpine alive.. :)

I completely agree, I think its safe to conclude that nokser has abandoned this project considering that the last post made by him on 17 October 2009 was:

And up until now, no results have been produced, in alpha, beta form or otherwise. It cannot also be said that Nokser is busy with his personal life considering that he's been very busy in the Smartphone forums. His latest post in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5130129&postcount=58) shows that the same was made on 12 December 2009.

Clearly, the guy just suckered you guy(s) an Alpine in consideration of an empty promise. Move on people, there is nothing to see here.

Microsoft has released new OS, and I think there's no need to wait for this WM6/6.5 ROM.
Alpine is outdated now, even if running a new ROM.
Why not we throw it out and change a better phone? So that you won't need this Lord Nokser any more.

I have one to sell.
Good condition, no scratches on screen, extended battery, cradle.

But have issue:

When boot up it works normally after a while the sound is gone.
But the sound works on the bluetooth headset.
